More vector creatures

 I finished the second of the characters in Illustrator. I have two versions. I'm not sure which one two use. hmm...






This one is how i made it at first. then i decided that i should try different colour.

 

Here i added legs and changed the colour. Later i can animate the legs and the arms in flash.

Sketches

 I started doing my characters and rough sketches for the website. ckeck them :D

 First i thought i'll draw some creatures for the loading animation. Then i decided i'll use my logo instead. That's why i'll use this two cute creatures somewhere in the website.

The creature made in Illustrator. It still needs more coloring:D

http://www.unouplus.com/ - nice loading animation. My idea is similar, but instead of a space ship i will use my logo (naturalistic creatures, you can see it on the poster). It will walk from left to right and loading at the same time. ho ho

http://www.unit9.com/creativemind/ - the most inspiring website for me. The characters are just lovely, funny and interesting. My favorite planet is "  I Love My GUT.  The white creature  is so funny with its movements and sounds. what impressed me most was when u press on it and it jumps in front of u, opening a new window.

For my portfolio website,however, i don't want so much characters and animations on one place. Probably two, tree in a section. huh

Research

 Here are some amazing websites which I found. 

 I want a websites with entirely vector graphics in it, but I looked  into different sites  just for inspiration. 

 http://www.bubole.pl/#/en/  - really nice website with great graphics in it. I also like the funny sounds of the buttons. I want to use funny sounds like those as well, but for my monsters and creatures.
i also would like my illustration to appear in a similar way on the screen.

http://www.sir-patroclo.com/ a portfolio website with really cool graphics in it. This guy has only one character, but animated in a clever and simple way. My favorite one is when u press his illustrations and the character starts drawing on a graphical tablet. cool. It's a good example.

Portfolio website

 A portfolio website just for me. Hell Yeah!

 Actually, I was hoping for a project  just like this, where I will be able to create a little world for my monsters and creatures. 

 Last term I designed a self-promotional stationary set, where I showed my philosophy and style. I was thinking that I can continue what I started there and of course, develop more ideas based on my designs.
